This is half of a small sandwich: American cheese, ham, onion, green pepper, pickle, tomato, olives, salt pepper and oil. I always order it with extra ham and olives. Absolutely delicious. Even though it is a cold sandwich, I let it rest for about 10 minutes to ensure the oil seeps everywhere before enjoying it with Humpty Dumpty BBQ chips and a Diet Coke; surprisingly, Amato’s does not sell Pepsi products. Amato’s makes their sandwiches fresh, to order. Rarely do they get it wrong. If you’re traveling through or visiting the Portland area, make sure you try Amato’s. ”
